The GU Patrol Snorkel and Airbox

Following the popularity of our ZD30 style airboxes and the GQ snorkel & airbox combo, we are proud to announce our latest product... The PATROLDOCTA 4 INCH STAINLESS AIRBOX AND SNORKEL – Purpose designed to TO SUIT GU NISSAN PATROLS. Countless customers have contacted us regarding our ZD30 airboxes, asking if a 4 inch inlet and outlet could be incorporated. This was not previously possible with the ZD style box. As a result, we then developed the all new GU Patrol zd30 stainless snorkel and air box kit – fitted with a larger 4" airbox for big power V8's with serious airflow requirements. Unlike many 4" snorkels, you do not have to cut holes in the inner guard. This can create issues of roadworthiness if you have cut through a structural part of the body. Instead, the snorkel passes above the inner guard and through a hole cut in the corner of the bonnet using our template. This also places the snorkel out of harm’s way, reducing the chances of it being torn off on trees or banks. The GU Patrol stainless snorkel mounts on 2 existing weld nuts in the inner guard and the pillar mount. This is then attached using 7 rivets and a polyurethane adhesive for waterproofness. To fit this kit, you must relocate all existing components from the rear of the passenger guard. This often includes Ignition Coil, diesel vacuum systems, vacuum locker solenoids, LPG converters, on some models ABS block etc. Your factory radiator overflow bottle must be shifted forward as per the images. Included is a Donaldson vacuator valve, this valve is installed at the lowest point of the airbox housing to allow any water to drain out. This kit represents great value when compared to separate airbox and snorkel purchases. Not to mention the compactness, huge airflow capacity and ease of installation. Fits series 1-2-3 requires modification to fit series 4 shape onward. Due to the size of the kit, we can only send by courier.
